Financial Aid Advisor

The Financial Aid Advisor provides comprehensive support to students by administering federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs in compliance with all applicable regulations. This role requires strong knowledge of financial aid policies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain accurate, confidential, and auditable records. Advisors work independently and collaboratively to process FAFSAs, review and exercise professional judgment on eligibility and appeals, administer state grants and Federal Work-Study, and support veterans’ benefits as assigned. The position also involves direct student service, including managing walk-in, email, and campus-based financial aid operations, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high level of customer service. Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague is preferred.
